rufftuff way to go - hard road to travel
I really need to stop getting here early in the morning, doing all my work for the day by 8:15, so that I can experience the next 7 hours and 45 minutes minute by excruciating minute.

Actually, eye on the prize. Goals. I know I'm nuts and I can't actually handle it, but thinking I'll soon be able to is what is getting me through these days.

OH MY GOD? The movie and band who played in the soundtrack for said movie, both of whose names have eluded me for like A YEAR!!!!??? - I have done a search on the web and I know. I don't remember, because those cues are gone, man, and none of the usual retrieval tricks worked at all, and it was seriously driving me nuts for a long long time. The Sweet Herefter, and The Tragically Hip.

I was all, to Harry, you know, "the movie with the Indian reservation and the bus accident and the girl with no leg who sings folk songs, covering the songs of this band I can't recall, and then you find out her father is acting not only as her manager but her boyfriend as well?...That movie???" Sarah Polley was in that movie and when I saw her the other day, I went...ahhh Sarah Polley - I'm getting warm. I wanted it just to pop back to the memory. But I had to cheat and look it up just to put it to rest.

I dunno. Tragically Hip. As long as they have been around and as prolific as they seem to be, I don't really know much of their music, but what I have I have always liked, and remembered later and been haunted by....Sarah's cover of Courage in that movie kicked serious ass.

How many habits can you kick, before you need a walking stick?

Bwahahahahhaha.

Sniffle. Sneeze/

I fucking love Woody Guthrie. I'ma need me some early James Brown soon. And some Jimmy Cliff.

....Holy shit I love Jimmy Cliff. Faults and all. That shit just makes my day - I will burst into Hard Road to Travel here at my receptionist console and they will know how nuts I am
