I'm upstairs with Josh and am listening to Palace Brothers and Will Oldham's other stuff while Josh stuffs the webcam and cord into his training potty.
He's wearing over-alls the nextdoor neighbor with the vicious dog gave him yesterday along with a buncha other cute stuff - a leather and knitted jacket (not real leather) - now he has upwards of thirty jackets, and fifteen pairs of overalls because everyone I know gives us clothes regularly and they all have better taste than me as well as a weird sense of priority about dressing kids precociously which I seem to lack.
I am downloading a broken link checker - yay! Did you know you can find almost anything for free on this-here Web? It is so true. I downloaded this cool thing Lex suggested called "Pixie", that is a mouse utility - you hover over any part of your screen and it tells you the hexidecimal color, as well as letting you mix colors and magnify spots - it's kewl. I'm also isolating the color charts by Webmonkey into a pop-up file for myself. (Not for you) (Myself) (I talk like I'm from Mars, don't I?)
And when I downloaded the current Netscape it came with Winamp, which is pretty friendly actually, so I'm downloading a "retro" skin to go with it. As often as I sit here in front of this screen, I forget to play music.
I need to get back to Kazaa so I can keep building fresh playlists.
I miss Audiogalaxy.
Hey, this is quite possibly one of the greatest band websites I have seen - and the style reminds me of Lex, which is why I avoid copping other people's styles - any way, My Morning Jacket.
