Tragically, the better part of yesterday I spent taking Julio's cat along with Julio to the vet's in an emergency visit, because, as it turned out, his kitty had a kidney blockage that shut down his kidneys. He was just going into a coma as we brought him in, but seemed to revive after a catheter was put in and an i.v., although I realized today I was in denial....and so last night around 9 Bela (Lugosi) died, apparently/hopefully, in his sleep. Bela was a one of a kind cat, and he was Julio's best friend. May he rest peacefully in the good kitty place.
